As the first term of 2019/20 academic year draws to a close, we wanted to take the opportunity to say how excited and proud we are to be taking on the role of Co-Headteacher from January 2020. Although we have been in these posts since September, we will no longer have the guidance of Mr Wergan as our Executive Headteacher and we are really looking forward to leading our school in the next phase of our transformational journey. For us, Steyning Grammar School represents all that is good about young people today; we are a complex organisation with multiple sites, a boarding house and students ranging from 11-18 who all carry with them their own individual aspirations and hopes as well as struggles - what an exciting challenge we face to ensure that they go out into the world the best people that they can possibly be. We have exceptional teaching and support staff, all of whom believe passionately in the possibilities for our students; with the support of home this is a powerful tool to get the best out of each and every one of our students. We will endeavour to strengthen the home/school partnership even further in the forthcoming year.
We always look forward to meeting as many of our current parents and carers and thank you for your ongoing support. If you are a prospective student, parent or carer, we look forward to welcoming you to our school to meet our students and staff.
