Parents and carers are welcome to contact the college at any time. A weekly communication sheet is e-mailed to parents with information on Enrichment, Higher and Further Education and other progression information.
Regular consultation evenings and progress grades are provided but if there is sufficient cause for concern your parents/carers will be contacted after discussion with you.
Whatever your future, the self-awareness and transferable skills developed at Steyning Grammar Sixth Form should prepare you to lead a purposeful and rewarding life. A comprehensive Careers Education and Progression to Higher/Further Education/Apprenticeship/School Leavers’ Programme/ Employment programme is offered to you all as you enter the Sixth Form College.
In the spring term of Year 12, all students attend the annual Higher Education Convention usually held at Brighton University or Sussex University.
In June, there is a Futures Day for Year 12 which makes you aware of the various options available to you on leaving school. More details on our Futures programme
