Sixth Form Conference 8.2.19
Our Year 12 students had the opportunity to listen and respond to a range of questions which ranged from personal wellbeing to wider social and global issues.
Headteacher Nick Wergan chaired the conference with a panel including Dave Steel; Minister from One Church Brighton, Holly Kool; Ex-SGS IB student, English Literature Graduate, Father Steve; Priest at St Andrew & St Cuthman, Clare Dodgson; Ex-Counsellor at Brighton University, Andrew Fadoju; Minister from Elim Church, Worthing, Scar de Courcier -Ex-SGS A Level student Psychology researcher & cybercrime investigator.

Who or what inspires you?
What is the greatest social issue that needs addressing right now?
"Humans are inherently selfish"
What advice have you been given that you regret not following?
Is gender inequality a thing of the past?
Has the feminist movement gone too far and lost original meaning?
This was a great opportunity to think beyond the confines of the curriculum and debate on meaningful issues.
