Visit by Dorit Oliver-Wolff
Steyning Grammar School were privileged to host Dorit Oliver-Wolff a survivor of the Holocaust. Dorit spoke to all Year 8 students and recounted her experiences as a child in occupied Hungary and her narrow escapes from capture. It was a special opportunity for the students to listen to Dorit and ask her questions. The morning started with an introductory session on the historical background to the Holocaust which was brought to life by Dorit's candid and poignant account of her early life and her later career as an international recording star.
