The options process for the current Year 8 has begun. Students need to choose 4 subjects to study in Key Stage 4 in addition to the compulsory GCSEs of English, Maths and Science. Students also complete a short course GCSE in RE as well as PSHE and PE courses.
Further details of the options process are in the Options Booklet which you can download below – a small number of students get a modified version of this booklet. All students, parents and carers get the correct version of the booklet for their child by email. Please note that this booklet represents a large change in the way that students choose their options in light of new government guidance on the KS4 curriculum. The changes are best described on page 5 of the booklet.
