1 to 1 iPads
We have now launched our Tech 4 Learners 1 to 1 device programme to enable parents and carers of students in years 7 to 10 to invest in an iPad. However we are aware that a number of parents and carers missed the deadline to sign up and would now like to join the scheme. In summary the iPad scheme offers,
- An iPad 8 32GB for students, a personalised learning device students can use at school and at home
- Enhanced learning outcomes through consistent access to technology and powerful learning resources
- Fully covered technology – each device is protected in the event of accidental damage or theft, for the duration of the programme
- Device management – the iPad is controlled by parental controls at home and school controls when in school
- A tough case to protect the iPad
- Several repayment options that give the ability to pay in manageable monthly payments
- The device is yours at the end of programme at no extra cost
It is our aim that the iPads will be delivered to students in November 2021.
We want all of our learners to be able to access this technology but are aware that it is a financial commitment for carers. We are happy to be able to offer financial assistance to parents in certain circumstances. If your child is entitled, or has ever been entitled in the last six years, to free school meals or if your child has ever been offered pupil premium designation for another reason, please contact the school and we will discuss how we can help you.

- Go to the payment portal at: www.tech4learners.co.uk
- Login in with the following username Steyning21 and password S3cure02!
- Select the year group that your child is currently in.
- If you would like to join the scheme but are worried about your ability to pay (see above for criteria), please contact Mr Dryer at ddryer@sgs.uk.net
- If you’re joining the scheme, please do so by Sunday 10th October, this is when the ordering window will close.
