SGS Sixth Formers celebrated excellent A Level and vocational qualification results, which secured them places at their chosen universities, further education courses, apprenticeships and employment.
The Sixth Form Team has commended the achievements of the 2026 cohort, who have demonstrated commitment, resilience and determination throughout their studies.
Among the many individual successes are:
Ellie who achieved two A*s in English Literature and History and an A in Politics. She will study Human, Social and Political Sciences at Churchill College.
The proportion of students achieving A*- C grades has increased significantly from last year, as have student pass rates. Students performed particularly strongly in Art and Design, Photography, History and English Language. Students studying the Sports Studies Diploma continue to excel for a third consecutive year.
Many Sixth Form students also take up the opportunity of boarding at the Sussex School, gaining access to a wider range of experiences in an environment that nurtures students and develops them as well-rounded individuals both inside and outside the classroom, fully prepared to transition to life at university or in work.
These results follow the School’s recent Ofsted inspection, during which inspectors praised students for making a wide and valuable contribution to the school community and highlighted the active support they provide for younger students.
Bohunt Education Trust prides itself on its success in supporting students to complete their studies at Sixth Form, as they then go on to take their place in society as knowledgeable, erudite and principled individuals who are confident and ready to realise their ambitions.
