Curiosity

Curiosity is a strong desire to learn or know something – it is the search for information for its own sake.

We want our students to be ‘curious’ and when they are we notice that they:

  • Ask a lot of questions in class
  • Like finding new things out
  • Show a wider interest in their learning
  • Research around the subject
Tips for helping with Curiosity
  • Ask open ended questions – introduce conversation that don’t have a definite end point
  • Admit when you don’t know – and discuss what you will do to find out
