Zest is an approach to life filled with excitement and energy.

We want our students to show zest in their learning and when they are we notice that they:

  • Are always enthusiastic no matter what the activity
  • Find their learning exciting
  • Take advantage of opportunities for enrichment and support
  • Help motivate others
Tips for helping with Zest
  • Encourage outside exercise – research shows that exercise increases energy and vitality
  • Model enthusiasm – talk about how you would love to be learning and the things you find exciting to find out about
