A student who explores the creative world outside the classroom by visiting galleries, reading books, watching documentaries and creating art. A student who can make connections between their own work and the work of other artists. A student who takes risks, exploring a range of ideas and media and always pushing their own ideas, reviewing and reflecting as they work. A student who understands the connection between art and the world around them.
A ‘game-changing’ student in Photography is:
A student who independently researches different media, techniques and photographers by reading relevant articles, watching documentaries, visiting galleries and exhibitions. They then use this information to influence their own photography practice. A student who is fearless in pushing the boundaries of the photographic process and taking risks.
